Introduction

Porter Education Consulting respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at Porter Education Consulting’s Web site.

Porter Education Consulting collects information through our Web site at one point, namely, the Request for Consultation Form. We do not collect information about site visitors at any other point.

Through the Request for Consultation Form we collect contact information, availability, and basic information about a student's current situation, e.g., expected graduation date. The information is collected voluntarily. To receive a consultation through the Request for Consultation Form, essential contact information is mandatory because we need this information to schedule your consultation. Other information we may request is optional.

Porter Education Consulting does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We do not collect non-personally identifiable, demographic data. We do not aggregate personally identifiable information about site visitors, including those who use the Request for Consultation Form.

We verify the accuracy of the information we collect when scheduling a consultation by telephone or email.

We do not employ cookies.

Part II. Information Usage.

The information collected by Porter Education Consulting will be used for the purpose of scheduling and preparing for a consultation. Users who provide information will by contacted by their choice of telephone or email, and they may receive a consultation.

Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about services and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will be used to create a customer-student profile which will be used in the course of providing our services. We will supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources such as telephone and personal consultations.

We never share data with the third parties..

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, we will immediately advise the general public on the home page of the Web site. Active clients will be notified by mail, telephone or email within fifteen days of the change.

Porter Education Consulting maintains the accuracy of our information by direct telephone, personal or email verification with the user who submitted the information. Users may request their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find.
