About Paula Porter.
Since 1997, Paula Porter has been helping families with the college search process.
As the Director of Enrollment Services at The Janus School, she worked with learning disabled students who were college bound but needed to know which schools could best meet their learning needs.
In 2003, Porter Education Consulting was begun in order to be able to work with students of all abilities. PEC clients have enrolled at Ivy League and other elite institutions, US service academies as well as many other fine universities and colleges. She has broad experience in the area of merit and need-based financial aid for families.
Ms. Porter is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of College Admission Counselors, the National Association of College Admission Counselors, a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and a member of the Higher Educational Consultants Association (HECA). She is also the Director of College Counseling at York Country Day School in York, Pennsylvania.
